SURPRISE!!!
That’s right, Fam! After more than a month of not posting at all, I’m back in your inbox TWICE IN ONE WEEK — this time with a quick little announcement about something I’ve finally had time to finish up, now that I’m no longer able to post on Instagram (or TikTok for that matter, but more on that another time. 🙃)
Inspired by the recent release of the deluxe edition of ‘We Are Siskin’ and the safe return of the Voyager Spaceship following it’s 200th “musical journey into infinity” 🚀🥳 I thought it was high time to put the finishing touches on my Siskin Saturday fan edit, which I shot back in June.
A chronicle of my day spent in celebration of Sue & Suzanne’s performance at GoodGreef’s 2024 edition of Trance in the Woods (which also featured live vocals from the indomitable Susie Ledge) it was a delight to revisit these clips and be reminded of what a beautiful summer day feels like as winter starts creeping into my neck of the woods. 😁
The edit features the Paul Sawyer remix of Siskin’s ‘Are We Dreaming’, one of 5 remixes included on the aforementioned ‘We Are Siskin’ [Deluxe] album, which is out now on Black Hole Recordings.
Big love to my fellow Siskin fans for participating in the celebration, and HUGE love to Siskin for giving us all a reason to celebrate in the first place. 👑💙👑💙
