Fresh EDM Releases for October 2024: Tiered by Genre

Hiya Fam!

Since there were only a couple of releases to catalogue this week, I thought now would be the perfect time to introduce a new post series I’ve been thinking about — a roundup of the tracks that dropped in the previous month, using one of those tier ranking templates that I’ve seen popping up in YouTube videos for a while now.

Only instead of ranking the songs themselves — ’cause music is subjective and my opinion of a song doesn’t make it categorically good or bad 😁 — I took a page out of festival content creation Queen Emma Kapotes’ book, and used the ranking template to sort the tracks according to their respective genres.

This way you can get an at-a-glance idea of which tracks might suit your mood, context, activities, or overall musical preferences.

& even tho I’m still v. much a rookie in the scene, I’ve done my best to further categorized the songs into subgenres in the list below the image, so you can get an even better idea of which tracks you might want to try out, and which ones might not be your jam. (Although I am a firm proponent of trying something new every once in a while — ’cause you never know when you might stumble on a new favourite.)

So without further adieu, allow me to introduce our Fresh Features Roundup for October 2024. 🎉

All the titles are listed below and linked to their respective catalogue pages, with links to buy & stream, plus available videos, placement details, press, promotion & liner notes (including lyrics, in case you want to sing along. 😉)

I’ve also included a couple of Vibe emojis & a fun fact or personal thought about each of the songs to give you a little more info to go on, and even tho the list isn’t super long, I’ve included a table of contents so you can jump directly to your genre (or sub-genre) of choice.

Enjoy! & I’ll see you on the other side. 👇
